A Law firm in Lekki is looking to hire an Accountant urgently. The successful candidate will be handling accounting and finance-related tasks for the firm. 

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Reconcile the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  • Manage employee expenditures
  • Manage income and expenditure accounts
  • File and remit taxes and other financial obligations
  • Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.

Qualification/Competencies:

  • BSc. In Accounting, Finance or any relevant qualification.
  • ICAN/ACCA certified.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like SAGE and Peachtree.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with general ledger functions.
