A Fintech company requires the services of a Business Analyst.

Location: Lekki, Lagos.

Responsibilities:

• Engage stakeholders in order to identify reporting needs.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders with the objective of defining reporting requirements.

• Determine client’s needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.

• Identify, flag, resolve data inconsistencies in reports by working collaboratively with other functional teams such as Data Engineering, DevOps, etc

• Prepare business cases including cost/benefit, impact and risk analysis for each option

• Help create documentation and marketing materials for the product, making sure that these are agreed and used with all relevant parties.

• Facilitate the generation of ideas and analyze them to figure out where we should be focusing our attention and how we can get the best out of our resources.

• Create, gather, measure and monitor a key set of KPIs for the product to ensure that we are always developing in the right direction

• Assist the company in achieving short and long-term goals relating to product growth

• Champion best practices in business intelligence and reporting

• Support management in creating strategic business growth plans

• Predict the future trends from the current developments in the market and recommend the management accordingly to plan the strategies

• Analyses information on relevant compliance requirements that regulate the business

 Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other related discipline.

• Relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience

• Experience in the financial services or financial technology sector

• Payment systems experience

• Analytical skills and expansive thinking with strong desire to deliver and develop

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across functional teams

• Ability to engage senior stakeholders while managing their expectations

• Planning and organizational skills and problem-solving ability
